Episode #36: Quarantine Edition | Hurricane Derrick with Derrick Robertson of Pub BreWskey + Noah Forrest of Beerism | Adjunct Series
One of the top contenders for the MVP of Quebec craft beer in 2020 is Pub BreWskey. Helmed by Derrick Robertson, his unique and genre-bending beers have made a huge dent in the QC scene this year, and his sours have essentially made them the "smoothie guys". And while their smoothie sours are unbeatable in Canada, their haze, stouts and crispybois are nothing to sneeze at, either.
Once again, we brought in our fave guest co-host, Noah Forrest of Beerism, to hang out with Derrick for an epic four-hour chat. We dove into a ton of beers, from the hazy pales to their DDH DIPAs, their smoothie sours, pastry stouts, and even their first ever fruited hard seltzer, we went deep into smoothie sours (arguably the most controversial style of the year), got nerdy about hopping rates, and a whole lot more. This one is worth catching the whole chat. Cheers!
