Episode #35: Quarantine Edition | For The Kulture with Latiesha Cook of Beer Kulture | Adjunct Series
Over the past few years, one organization has dominated the conversation surrounding diversity and inclusion online. Beer Kulture, founded by Dom and Latiesha Cook in 2017, has been unapologetic in their approach to ensuring BIPOC have a voice in craft beer. With features in Bloomberg, Forbes, Vinepair, Brewbound, Hop Culture, Good Beer Hunting and of course, BAOS Podcast, the world is truly taking notice.
Converting to full non-profit status earlier this year, Beer Kulture's mission has only intensified, with scholarships, food and clothing drives, and an active industry job board making up only some of their activities. Cee and Tiff finally sat down with Latiesha after a long online friendship to share some beers (Tiesh rocked Beer Kulture's two Cloudwater collabs, a Festbier and a Märzen, while Cee and Tiff got into Doom Boy from Town Brewing and Black Is Beautiful from Sir John x Weathered Souls) and laughs. This is a fun one, enjoy!
